Imagine looking through the eyes of the Holy Spirit. Life might be a dark and dreary tunnel to you. Yet, the Holy Spirit can see the light that is God, waiting for you at the end. All you must do to find your way is to follow the Holy Spirit. He will lead you through that tunnel and into the light, to a place Jesus called, "Paradise." (Luke 23:43).
"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." - 2 Corinthians 3:17

Your Greatest Passion
I'm here to tell you that your faith will not be measured by your quality of life. Your difficult situation might get even worse. The outcome for you on this earth could be most undesirable. Your life might even end, either by sickness OR in the grasp of an enemy. In Heaven, though, you will claim victory. You will do so; IF you protect your faith in a genuine love for the Lord.
Let not the fires of this earth consume your love for Him. Do not wrap your love for Him in an expectation, a longing for some advantage or gain in this world. Once you believe, repent, and take the steps toward Salvation; please do NOT miss an important point made through this essential Truth from God's Word ...
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind" - From Luke 10:27 (NIV).
The faith that emerges from the ashes of this world is preserved in an undying love for God, a desire for Him that is NOT conditional. The flames can truly devour all else in a person's life. Fire, at the very least, will leave a stain on the most tempered steel. However, the fire that comes from God's enemry CANNOT penetrate (much less, taint), the inpenetrable pure love that surrounds the faithful heart. We MUST hold on ... "For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison," - From 2 Corinthians 4:17 (ESV)
"Those who overcome will also be dressed in white. I will never erase their names from the Book of Life. I will speak of them by name to my Father and his angels." - Jesus from Revelation 3:5 (NIRV)
God's Love for each of us is deeper than what we can understand as human beings. Believing and feeling this much about His Love during trials; I cannot imagine holding back my love for Him under any circumstance. God has a plan and purpose, even if I cannot see it OR prosper by it in this world.. All that matters is that His love is more than sufficient, and it gives me a comfort that soothes my heart within.
When I hurt, I pray ... Thank you, Lord, for loving me so much. My pain is deep, but I will never stop loving you. I know that you are NOT the cause for my suffering. You are the great comforter. I trust in you, and I am grateful for your promises. I will endure this anguish and pass the test, by loving you even more.
Let your love for God be your greatest passion.
