Some people claim a superior secular knowledge pertaining to how science says everything we see came about apart from God. They place the full weight of their faith and eternal future in science alone, and not in God alone. What they are sorely lacking then, is spiritual wisdom and godly insight.
People who say they don't believe in God, may be called a traditionalist; someone who rest upon the past. They pick up a few rocks and stones and proclaim that everything that can be seen and known is simply through the "natural evolutionary process".
They can't really prove Darwin's theory of evolution, because it's all based upon assumption. Evolution, is nothing more than speculation. The evolutionist picks up a rock or a bone, examines it and then tells everyone how old they think the world is.
But, God said to Job:
“Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?
Tell Me, if you have understanding (Job, 38:4).
Atheists/Evolutionists may be fairly intelligent, but lacking in godly wisdom, they are wrong about how everything came into being. They really do not know of what they so proudly and forcibly speak.
Playing with a few little stones and bones, they claim to have figured out how we "evolved". In reality, they assume much more than they actually know. Simply placing a rock or a bone under a microscope will never explain God's wonderful creation, nor its actual age.
"For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see His invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God" (Romans, 1:20).

PRAYER: Father, you empowered us with the freedom to choose. Thank you, Lord, for granting me freedom. I honored you for the freedom by giving it up, by bonding to your will, and by boldly doing so without regret. Yet, I continue through this life without all of the answers. There are those, Lord, that claim to have all of the answers. However, I discern that their answers are often not purely according to your Word. Often, their motives are clearly not righteous. I declare to you, Lord, that my belief in your Word is greater than my confidence in mankind's understanding and knowledge. Therefore, my dear Heavenly Father, I offer myself to you as an empty cup, void of all else that would taint your refreshing waters of Truth. Lord, please pour your Word into me, so that my understanding can be sufficient. Quench my thirst, Lord, for knowing you. Train my ears to know Truth, so that my hand is raised ONLY for your Glory. Please have your Holy Spirit tug on my heart, when I am in the presence of deceit. Condition my lips to issue rebuke, only when it is right for your purpose. Guide my feet, so that they swiftly remove me from whatever would consume or overwhelm me. I am NOTHING, Lord, while you are EVERYTHING. My life, though, is SOMETHING precious, because of your Word and Christ within it. Fill me up, Lord. I am in submission to you and your Word. I fall to my knees, my face pressed against the ground, as I await the outpouring of your Spirit. Amen!
