God, the one who created this perfect design for the parent-child relationship.
Ephesians 6:1-4 "Children, obey your parents as believers in the Lord. Obey them because it's the right thing to do. Scripture says, 'Honor your father and mother.' That is the first commandment that has a promise. 'Then things will go well with you. You will live a long time on the earth.' —(Deuteronomy 5:16) Fathers, don't make your children angry. Instead, train them and teach them in the ways of the Lord as you raise them." (NIRV)

Love is made perfect, not by courage, but by having faith in the hope that God offers. We are then able to have peace within. Out of a peaceful heart, the light of a Christ-like courage will involuntarily push back all darkness that would dampen it with fear.

PRAYER: Your Love, Lord, has changed hearts. It can tame the lion to lie down with the lamb. Whatever it is that might be unlikely, Dear God, YOUR love can make possible. Thank you for extending to us your love through your Son, Jesus Christ. It is because of Him, I made it this far. Please continue to be with me, Lord, as I venture into another day.

He loves us, folks, so much that He sent his Son to die for us. He did it so that we would live forever with Him. We don't need for this to show up in wrapping paper or a gift bag, do we? It's spiritual gold, ladies and gentleman.

PRAYER: Lord, I cannot walk alone. I cannot be without you. People often ignore or misunderstand me. Your Word reveals that this will happen to those who are with you. Dear Jesus, because of your clear love, I will NOT rely upon the attentiveness of others. While at times it might be difficult, even discouraging, I will reset my sights on you, Lord. When I am down, I feel you with me. When I call upon your name, I feel your comfort. Your love, Lord, is what I will rely upon each day in order to make it to the next day. Amen!
